We’re incredibly grateful to the nearly 400 filmmakers from 27 countries who trusted us with their work for the inaugural SilverVox Film + Music Festival. The range, creativity, and originality across every genre—documentary, narrative, experimental, animation, music video, kids films, and midnight movies—made this an unforgettable first screening process.
A huge thank you as well to the SilverVox screening team, whose time, care, and thoughtful attention made this process possible.
Every film was watched. Every submission mattered.
From this group, 119 films have been selected—and we truly wish we had room for more.
Selected filmmakers have been notified, and we’ll be rolling out the lineup over the coming weeks, with the full slate announced by early May.
All in preparation for this June 18–21, when SilverVox takes over downtown Frederick across its 10+ venues—bringing together films, filmmakers, live music, and more. We can’t wait to share what’s coming.
We’ll begin to announce our film programs starting Monday April 27th!
