SilverVox Film & Music Festival is a four-day collision of independent film, live music, and creative energy- launching June 2026 across the theaters, venues, and streets of Downtown Frederick, Maryland. It’s a festival built for discovery: dark rooms, loud stages, unexpected conversations, and stories that stay with you long after the lights come up.
SilverVox is produced by SilverVox, a nonprofit arts organization focused on amplifying independent voices and building experiences where filmmakers, musicians, artists and audiences meet on equal ground. A mix of industry, a mix of fandom, a mix of what makes Frederick the perfect home.
What is SilverVox?
SilverVox didn’t appear overnight. It grew out of more than two decades of hands-on filmmaking and exhibition through 72 Film Fest – one of the nation’s longest-running filmmaking challenges and a proving ground for bold and fun time-constrained storytelling.
SilverVox Film and Music Festival is the next evolution of that spirit – widening the frame to include international films across narrative, documentary, and experimental work, while opening the doors to bands, solo artists, composers, experimental sound, red-carpet premieres, and national musical acts. The commitment remains the same: bold ideas, real craft, and creative risk.
Why Frederick?
Frederick isn’t a backdrop – it’s a huge part of the vibe. Historic theaters. Small rooms with big sound. Venues, Galleries, and public spaces working in rhythm, drawing artists and audiences into the same shared experience.
SilverVox F+M is designed as a walkable, city-wide experience.
Who’s Behind It
SilverVox is guided by a small leadership team and advisory board with deep experience in film, music, live events, and nonprofit arts – with some on the team growing up in Frederick. Meet the Team.
Jurors, guest curators, and visiting artists are announced as the lineup takes shape.
